I would like to encourage you to stay with the program...it works wonder when followed. You will notice your clothes getting looser. I have followed the G.I and when I do am successful. I am new to this fatsceret and need a buddy also. so do hang in there....Cherbe

I just signed up in the last two days. So, I need a lot of help. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to be healthier. I hope this diet will help any imbalances in my system that hamper weight loss, since I no longer take estrogen. But I have low blood sugar, so I feel it should help. I do need encouragement and help.
Thanks, Annie

I just started the family GI diet on Sunday. We all have to lose weight and we are all aware of it. I have never dieted before because I was afraid of the message I might be sending to my kids, but I think this is a sensible solution. It is not really dieting, it is eating right and getting healthier, which will lead to weight reduction. So far everyone seems to really enjoy the change. I hope we can keep it up!

Another newbie here!

I too want the healthier eating aspect, not just the weight loss.

me too!!my goals are to have this cute lil outfir for my husband (wink wink nudge nudge, Christmas gift) but there is no way in heck that i'm going to get one at my present weight. i'm shooting for about 12 Lbs a week, so just short of sweing my mouth shut and having a rabid cheetah chasing me all over to burn off the weight, i'm going to need a lot of support. i want to be 190 by christmas. i'm 315 now. i know that when i'm enjoying something and seeing my progress that i loose the weight a ton faster and when i have help by support that it helps too. so please if anyone has any advise or cheers of "common you can do it, you arn't a michelin tire guy(girl) mascot" that will really help me to strive more, and hit my goal! Thanks all!

Hannah

this is the outfit...

Hoping to loose weight and keep it off this time!!

Ketosis Achieved
Headaches and dizziness are signs that you need more salt. Try having a cup of broth or bouillon morning and night, that's usually enough. The doctors say adaptation to keto takes 2 to 6 weeks.
