All right. I refuse to go without ketchup. It is my favorite thing. My list used to include potatoes, and being a ND farm boy, that was a tough one to beat...but after awhile, potatoes were very easy to give up. My big thing is ketchup. Especially now that I'm sold on a high protein way of life. I even have ketchup with thanksgiving turkey. I sometimes get the low carb heinz, which uses splenda, but the consistency is a little different, so I just try to use less. Does anyone have any suggestions for some low carb ketchup products that they've found?

You can try netrition.com to order some. I am with bbq sauce the way you say you are with ketchup. Their bbq sauce is not to shabby, so maybe the ketchup is decent. Good luck. Let me know if you find a good one.

Great link heidi! I found this there:
http://www.netrition.com/heinz_one_carb_ketchup.html

I would bet you can find this in a store as Heinz makes it...

Quote:
Heinz One Carb Ketchup

Pour It On...

Now you can pour on the Heinz Ketchup without piling on carbs or calories.

That’s because Heinz has introduced Heinz One Carb Ketchup. The product has - you guessed it - one gram of total carbohydrates per serving vs. four grams per serving in traditional Heinz Ketchup. And Heinz One Carb Ketchup is no one-trick pony. The condiment also has 75 percent less sugar and only one-third the calories of the traditional variety. Probably the only thing it doesn’t have less of is flavor - the taste of One Carb Ketchup is comparable to the classic Heinz version.

Reduced Sugar

* 75% less sugar than traditional Heinz Ketchup
* Perfect for diabetics and others who are concerned with sugar intake

Reduced Carbohydrates

* 75% fewer carbohydrates than traditional Heinz Ketchup
* Gives adherents of low carb regimens the ability to keep their favorite condiment in their diets
* Only one carb per serving

Reduction In Calories

* 2/3 fewer calories than original Heinz Ketchup

Then there is a line that has even less:

Hi, I'm new to the site, but when I saw the word Ketchup, I had to respond! I also love kethcup and put it on alot of stuff (eggs, chicken, turkey....). So, the other day, I found a new one at the Grocery Store (Hannaford on the East Coast) that sells 'Walden Farms Tomato Ketchup'. It has no calories, no carbs. So I bought a bottle and it's really good. It's not exactly like the heinz stuff, but it takes great! Worth a shot.

I did go to another big supermarket chain (Shaws) last night and it was not to be found. It may be hard to find...... But if you see it, give it a shot...

Life without ketchup is just not worth living as far as I'm concerned. I'm not a great meat lover, and doing a high protein diet is hard enough without ketchup. Unfortunately the 1 carb version doesn't seem to be available in the UK.

My boyfriend did find me a reduced sugar version, but it still has too many carbs. I will bravely keep searching lol.

Perhaps you can check online availability of low carb ketchup - I'd try looking for the Heinz variety. Oh, I see that suggestion is already there. Great! Hope you can find it. Life without ketchup would be a challenge.

Oooh, thanks for that Chastity.

I went to that website, and although it's in the US, I found a link for Low Carb Megastore UK. There is the one Carb Heinz and even a Tomato Ketchup from Colac 1 Options made in Belgium with 0 carbs! Woohoo, going to order some now Very Happy

Thank you. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is in love with ketchup.
