I am a new fat smasher, I am going to start the diet first thing in the morning. I have a lot of stress in my life, and the extra ton of weight that I am lugging around is not helping at all! I have to loose the weight for me, so I can live the rest of my life as I dreamed I would. I am lucky to have a husband who loves me for who I am and just wants me to be happy. He is now also thinking about doing the smasher diet with me, but isn't really sure yet.
Anyhow, I am wondering how I am going to handle cooking for my daughter, and then eating something different so I can stay on track. I am a full time student, and don't have much time, and that is definitely going to be a challenge!!!

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!! Smile

Hi there! First and formost, welcome to the new "liftstyle", that is what I call it because it really isn't a diet to me it is a liftstyle change. It is a lot of work, but you can do this, just rememer your goal and keep your mind set to it! My husband is just like yours in the loving me for who I am, but wanting me to be happy. He supports me 100% and that is that matters. My husband was not on board 100%, but he did eat what I made for dinner and when him and my son didn't want that they would cook their own dinner. As for your daughter, that was something that concerned me with my step son, but he is doing just fine. What we eat isn't that much different now, of course I am in Phase III, but when I did detox I made them what they wanted and then I made my own. It really wasn't too bad because that is what I really wanted so it was pretty easy for me. Now that I am where I am I make dinner for all of us and they either eat it or they make their own dinner. I don't know how old your daughter is, but if she is old enough to cook with you, make it something that is fun for her, teach her how to eat properly now instead of down the road when she feeld she might need to diet. Eating healthy doesn't mean giving up everything, it just means eating the correct portions. As for the lack of time, that is everyone, but I would cook enough for a couple days so that all we had to do is heat it up, it really works and helps with the time thing!

Keep me posted, if you need anything let me know!

I just made dinner and cook a side of meat for my husband and son if they choosed to eat it. I figured rice, beans, fruit and veggie are what are best for them anyway. They didn't mind it usaually.
When the going gets tough the tough stick with it not run away!
