Hi i find that walking really is the best exercise for me. It's easily accessible, free, outdoors and fun -especially if you go with a friend. I am a busy mother of 3 and i get to catchup with my sister 2 mornings a week and different friends on the other 3 days. Nothing like a bit of adult conversation for some sanity even if it is 6 in the morning!

I also do a lot of walking. Trying to do more. The other things I'm starting to think more about doing is not always taking the easiest option in my usual day like climbing stairs instead of the escalator and carrying the shopping home from my supermarket. It's the little things that (hopefully) should add up to a much bigger calorie burn.

I live in a two story house, i think i get most of my exercise out of running up and down them. Bushwalking is also another great way, good to get out into the country air, I certainly always take up the opportunity whenever im on holidays.

I walk all over the place. It is my #1 exercise. It also helps to clear the head and usually allows me to think through whatever is buggin me so I feel alot better after the walk.

I love walking! I need to do running with my job but if I overdo it on training then my knee ends up being in so much pain I can't move. I live in the country so love taking in the fresh air, sunshine and just being outdoors.

I hear you. I tore some ligaments in my thigh and I can't walk for more then 20-30 minutes without pain. I know I need exercise but I'm kinda scared. Getting old sucks!

Every 50 days...it is too easy to lose hope when you reach a plateau. Every 50 days is good and you know if you are sticking to your regime. I can tell by how I feel and how my clothes fit.

Great tips, it is true that its mostly in the diet! Muhc better to make lifestyle changes than to go on to quick weight loss diets.

Probably literally no carbohydrates, except for a few veggies (no starches) and tons tons of water will be the best way you can eat! Also will have to exercise like crazy to lose that amount of weight ...

To avoid over eating always carry some raw almonds and an apple in your bag. It's amazing how a snack like this can carry you over until the next meal!
