I'm always looking for new music to put on my ipod for my workout mix. I'd love some suggestions! I really like music with a beat that you can dance to or that gets you moving. Some of my current faves are:

"Pump It" - Black Eyed Peas
"Boom Boom Pow" - Black Eyed Peas
"SOS" - Rihanna
"Pon de Replay" - Rihanna
"If U Seek Amy" - Britney Spears

This isn't stuff I'd choose normally just to listen to, but it gets me moving! Anyone have any other suggestions?

Hmmm... It's hard to make too many recommendations without knowing which genres you listen to, and more importantly which ones you don't.

Until then I'll just throw a few random songs your way.

Linkin Park - Faint / Bleed it Out
Eminem - 'Till I Collapse
Fort Minor - Remember the Name
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Cake - The Distance
Everclear - Amphetamine

A little (okay, a LOT) heavier...
Lamb of God - Laid to Rest
Killswitch Engage - Rose of Sharyn / My Last Serenade
Pantera - Walk

For working out, I'll listen to pretty much any genre - I'm not picky. When I'm not working out, that's another story LOL!

Thanks for the suggestions, those are some good songs! Smile

I don't listen to Madonna usually, but when I workout, songs like Hung Up, or Music (Hey Mr DJ) really make me move! the classic Little Less Conversation (remixed) from Elvis is a good one too...

Personally I like music with a fast steady beat to work out to. Drum n Bass works well and I really love the Clubland albums, not very credible, but god they make me run faster and longer than anything else. That said, I had a really good run this morning with Maximo Park's first album, A Certain Trigger.

Current favourite fatigue-busting tunes are:
Mickey Modelle vs Jesse - Dancing In The Dark, Ultrabeat vs Scott Brown - Elysium... I Go Crazy, Kano - Reload It (High Contrast mix), Brookes Brothers - Tear You Down, TC - Deep

When I work out all I have going is E-Town Concrete. Their music is hard and fast and when it is up loud coming through my Zune I cant help but move and do something... It also make my muscles all tense when I listen to it so an added bonus.

Have you tried some of the brain entrainment stuff for working out?
You know, with Theta waves and voice guided meditation set to uptempo music? Let me know if you're interested. I've got some mp3's I can send your way.
