I have been used to drinking my morning decaf coffee with a healthy dose of International Italian Creamer. I am SURE that the sugar in that creamer is NOT part of ANY keto diet. he he I simply can't abide black coffee - does anyone know how to get around this creamer issue? Need some help here please. I will have to switch to Herbal Tea if I can't find something to add to the coffee to break that BLACK COFFEE Taste.

Smart and Final has sugar free liquid flavors like they have at Starbucks. Torani I think. Using sugar free flavor with heavy cream would elminate the sugar and would be keto friendlier

If allowed, you may want to try coconut milk--canned or So Delicious sold in a box. So Delicious has unsweetened vanilla which tastes good. Canned coconut milk gives it a slight coconut flavor. Also try a mix of Irish butter and organic virgin coconut oil (about 1 tsp of each). The fats are great for you.

Yesterday at Ralph's they had a mark down on sugar free Torani Pumpkin Pie Flavor. I don't like using sugar free products often but it was an excellent special treat. 2 Tbsp has 0 carbs and 5 mg sodium. There is a suggestion to make your own sugar free flavored creamer with 1/4 cup Torani to 1 pint half and half. I'm going to try to post a picture.

I was one of those people who was always being asked by others, "Do you want a little coffee with that cream and sugar?" So, leaving it behind was a huge obstacle for me. I realized that the amount of cream and sugar I was adding to my coffee each morning was the equivalent calories of my entire breakfast! When I decided to get rid of the cream and sugar I knew I couldn't go "cold turkey" so I began with the creamer and cut it by 1/3. After a couple of weeks I cut it by 1/3 again, and then one more time until I no longer used the creamer. Then I did the same thing with the sugar. I've been drinking black coffee for about a year now and I really don't miss the cream or the sugar, definitely don't miss the calories.
