Im 5 4 and my goal weight was 125. I started at 169 and after I got to my goal of 125 I was not happy with my thighs, especially around my knees, so I have started to walk 10,000 steps a day, 6 days a week and have lost another 12 pounds. I wasn't planning on losing more weight, I just wanted to tone up, but I guess one can't really tone up without losing the fat under the skin. I can see improvement. I would say I am half way there. I want to get my knees and lower thighs ready for shorts season.

Sara329, you are doing great! Stay the course and increase your walking if you can! It really helps the joints as well as the calorie burn. My doctor says it has helped my cardiac risk factor stay in the safe zone so I am able to avoid cholesterol lowering medication. (Walking on the treadmill is the only exercise I do). Smile
