Plant based or Keto??

I’ve been doing research and had decided to start the Ketonic diet. Everything I read indicated that it would be good for everything from inflammation in the body to skin issues, brain, cardiac, thyroid, auto immune issues, etc. ……then yesterday I went with my husband to see his cardiologist and the cardiologist proceeded to show us TONS and TONS of research about how a plant based diet was actually better for you and would help my husband get healthier, etc……..And then we watched the documentary “What the Health” on Netflix……(surprise – a lot of the information stating that the Ketogenic diet was healthy, that meat and eggs are healthy for you were studies commissioned by the Dairy and Meat Industry).

So basically, I’m very confused in terms of what to do/start. I’m looking for a diet that will become a way of life that will be healthy and not put extra fat in our bodies only to get unhealthy later. And I’ll be frank- I love burgers- I’m a meat lover. And I am lactose intolerant – so no Dairy makes sense- as hard as it is!

I realize that me and my family are not eating enough plant based foods, so for now I’m going to look at doing some type of a cross- between the two diets……AGGGHHH! Anyone else struggled with this- wanting to be healthy, wanting to do what makes sense from a sustainability standpoint? And what have you decided?

There's no reason why you can't do keto with loads of plant based foods. Eggs, chicken, fish, grass fed beef are all good for you. I have been unable to give up dairy but if you can do it, go for it. Avoid processed foods and enjoy healthy fats and you will be good to go. Seems like the paleo lifestyle might be a good fit for you. Enjoy!

If anything, I've learned that when you read a study that says a food is good/healthy for you, it's important to find out WHO sponsored the study.

I've been following that plan for 19 months. I feel great and have lost 86 pounds. It has definitely become my lifestyle.

This is what we're doing, now that's working AMAZINGLY! Simply (not that easy but itc works) stop eating after a certain time. The ultimate best seems to be six pm. Then don't eat again until 12 hrs or more later. This gives our bodies a chance to detox, rest, and burn calories. Ketonic diet is very useful, I wrote esse about it, but could not find the necessary information. Thank God this coursework writing service helped me. True then I found what I needed.

Macros Reports
Can someone tell me why in reports the macros total for fats always shows in red that I've gone over my goal when I'm under my goal? Same thing on carbs and protein!
