Do you mean you are doing Low Carb High Fat ketogenic diet? That is what I am doing. I need to lose over 100 lbs. I am pre-diabetic, have hypothyroidism, hypertension, and fibromyalgia. I just started on my journey, and so far am doing well. The keto-flu has hit with a vengence, but I am dealing with it by drinking boullion broth. Anyway, the biggest thing I see with this is to keep your protein appropriate for your weight, and do not be afraid of fat! 70% of your caloric intake should be fat.But don't eat so much that you aren't burning your own fat. I based mine on an 1800 calorie/day. That means 1260 calories is fat, the remaining 540 calories is mostly protien, some carbs. Carbs are 20< per day. My protein is about 20-25% of my calories with only 5-10% carbs. If you can't tell, I am a bit anal about recording what I eat!Smile

Hello, I'm pre-diabetic, too and have a fatty liver. I need to loose 100 pounds, so far I have lost 25. It's taken me 5 months to to do this, doing 40 min of exercise this week. I'm 46, and I think It's taking me a long time to do it. I'm eating less then 1900 calories. This app has helped me a lot. any advice is good advice. I just seem to be eating so much Carbs even if it's just veggies.
