5:2 is The Fast Diet

Essentially, two days a week you fast - fast days (FDs). This means eating a maximum of 500 calories (for women, 600 for men).
The other 5 days (non-fast days [NFDs]) you eat whatever you want - but stay under your daily allowance. The average for women is 2,000. I set mine at 1,800.
If you exercise a bit you can add a few more calories to that or just lose more weight.
I find it really easy. I fast Monday and Tuesday. I eat cereal and milk in the morning then have veges and canned fish for dinner. I then break my fast with a nice lunch on Wednesday with my friend.
