What about the sugars that show up in the eggs, radishes, tomato, etc. Is that sugar o.k.???

Lots of really good choices there Sissy! Right up till I read your snack. If you haven't eaten those sugar free snack packs yet then don't!

For a sweet treat on induction you're allowed sugar free jello with real whipped cream if you want. I couldn't find the ingredients to the snacks on the Hunts site which tells me there's tons on their that you shouldn't eat.

And something that seems so simple... the red wine vinegar which is made from Burgundy grapes and grapes have high sugar content and so even though a small amount, it is still sugar !

Have you tried that site I suggested to work out your RDI? I find the FS rdi is high.

You're doing great though, I'll check in with you daily, I've been doing this for years and will be a low carber for life. I'm in maintenance now but still can't eat grains. As soon as I do I gain. so it's a long slow learning journey when everyone has to learn exactly what works for you.

Thank you for your advise. Yes, I noticed like 10 net carbs on the pudding! Sad Not eating that. I did not realize the vinegar was bad. What about other vinegars? I sure appreciate your help. Smile

Many products can have sugars in them but below a certain level they do not have to show it. So it is very low but for Atkin induction it is not allowed.

When you are trying to put your body into ketosis any form of sugar can stall this from happening.

I usually have olive oil and then squeeze the juice of a lime over my salad.

Salad Dressings - Any prepared salad dressing with no added sugar and no more then two net carbs per
serving (1 - 2 tablespoons is a serving)
• Blue Cheese 2 tbs 2.3
• Caesar 2 tbs 0.5
• Italian 2 tbs 3.0
• Lemon juice 2 tbs 2.8
• Oil and vinegar 2 tbs 1.0
• Ranch 2 tbs 1.4
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!
