Once a week in the Doctor's office. Eventually, I will do it at home to maintain but will always have the backup support I need.

Hi there, I had to start all over again with my weight loss efforts. My old bathroom scales which ran on batteries stopped working. Now I am using one that does not run on batteries and that gives me a different reading. The old one showed that I weighed 76.5 kilos and the new one shows 80 kilos. So now I am going to weigh myself once a week on a Friday in the morning.

I've been in the habit of weighing daily. I know it should probably be weekly. Daily helps me stay in check.

I have been weighing daily for so many years, that it bothers me when, for whatever reason (e.g., traveling), I can't start my day with a weigh in. On a couple of our long trips, I even took a small scale along with me!

I weigh myself every morning without my clothing. Weighing myself each day helps me to keep track. The reason why I weigh in the morning because I weigh less than any other part of the day.

I weigh myself once a week. I used to weigh myself 3 times a day and got obsessed with the numbers. So, sticking to once a week is helpful for me to keep in check without going nuts.

I weigh myself daily and while I do find many variations depending on fluid retention, if I'm holding to the diet and getting in some exercise, the results do come. I find that I'll have 4-6 readings in or around the same weight range but if the overall trend is down, that makes the daily weigh-ins worthwhile. Its a very slow process for me.

I weigh myself every morning and nightly. I weigh out all my foods and find it a nice measure knowing that if I weigh at night near what I weighed in the morning I am achieving weight loss for when I sleep I will wake up lighter. So like I said I can gauge my success closer and fine tune what I am doing so I don't go a week or two without catching a mistake.

I've had to stick to once a week. I find that little fluctuations--even when totally sticking to my plan do a head number on me--get discouraged and feel like eating!!

Every morning! I'm still pretty far from my goal weight so I can afford to weigh in daily without feeling too discouraged. I also find that it keeps me honest. I only record my total week's loss on Monday mornings. Smile
