food diary acting up?!!

I see there are very few responses in the technical help forum, so I am reposting here. The food diary has recorded yesterday's (Thursday) food as todays!! And, there are two blank days! I know I have recorded! Haven.'t I? Can someone help?

I'm new here, and found the same thing when I first started. I found out that you have to go to the calendar and switch the ticked box from " yesterday" to " today", then it clears all your values and you can start recording data for a new day. I find I have to do this every morning as it doesn't automatically roll over to a new day.

On the app on my phone, it's always the correct date and I never had any problem until this past few days. Seems like a technical issue that could be fixed, but there doesn't seem to be anybody in charge of this board, and no way to contact them if there is...strange. Of course, I am not high tech either.

I had put in my food I ate today before I saw your post, but went ahead and checked today's box. It is on the right day now. What did you mean about it clearing all the values? Nothing disappeared.

Mine opens up as the 15th January every single day, but as you say not on the phone app where it is always right. It drives me mad as I keep adding stuff before I remember to change the date!

If you bookmarked the page in your web browser it will always go to that day when you click it. Bookmark the home page and then go to you food diary.

Please, everyone, would you click on the Contact link (at the bottom of every page) and let the Fatsecret team know how much this aggravates you! PLEASE DO THIS!. The website didn't started doing this until the last change a couple months ago. Previously it always came up with today's date and if you wanted to enter data for a different date, you had to select it. The old way makes much more sense than the new way of always defaulting to the last date you used Fatsecret in that browser. I use Fatsecret on 5 or 6 different computers and each time I go to a different one, it defaults to the last date I used it on that computer. So I'm always entering data on the wrong date because enter data on one computer and then a little later I'm on a different one and it doesn't occur to me that I have to change the date as I've just been entering today's data on a different computer. I've been using Fatsecret for 3 years and it previously always went to today's date when opening it. I've emailed them via the contact link and they answered me back that they changed it this way intentionally. They said it was to be consistent across different platforms. But as others have mentioned, the mobile apps don't do this. They always default to today's date. As you can tell, this drives me nuts. PLEASE, everyone please email them and let them know you don't like it the way it is. Hopefully if enough people complain, they'll change it back to how it was. Thanks.
