Looking for buddies

Hi my name is Keni
Im on Atkins and am looking for other males to chat with about keeping on track and also could use some motivation for going to the gym.
Im fighting against a hernia which came from a ruptured appendix surgery and now have torn muscles in my stomach and abdomen, wont fix it till I lose weight.
I am doing 45 minutes of cardio on a machine that my doctor recommended(gazelle) I really enjoy it and its working great but I want to get my abs in better shape before the surgery. Any sugestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Keni, Larry here, I don't want you to think that I am a know it all. I will share what has worked with me. Low carbs and very low sugar intake. I have been on a low carb intake for almost a year and a half and have lost over 35 lbs and kept it off. My blood sugar is great. I use Adkins drinks and some of their snakes. The food I eat is low in carbs and high in protein. Works great for me! The one thing I have to mention is , Drink plenty of water all the time. As the body Burns Fat it uses a great deal of water. Dehydration is a very painful thing to experience and usually takes several days for the Cramps to subside once you take in the water. When it comes to going to the Gym , find someone to workout with. You will motivate each other.Hope you have great luck, what you are doing is a life style change not just a diet.
