Once a week, I keep a count on what I eat, (I have a wedding coming up& I have a special dress that I want to wear) so not only am I doing this for the wedding, I am also doing this for my benefit of good health.

So far I have lost 14 pounds. I haven't had any gains. Which is good.

Continued good luck to all of you!

I still weigh myself everyday. I am thinking about changing once a week. Which is on a Friday.

I weigh everyday first thing in the morning. If I see myself gaining I start that day cutting back and I continue until my weight returns to normal or what I think is normal. Weighing once a week does not work for me.

I weigh in when I get up and just before dinner. Record all lows into FatSecret, but if I bump up a bit, I give myself 3 days to lose it again. On the third day, I record the weight in FatSecret, regardless if it's a gain or loss. Hate to see it go up at all, so this is a motivation trick...

I started weighing every day. First thing in the morning, after I go to the bathroom and before I get into the shower. As others have noted, it helps keep me motivated because I catch any upward 'creep' right away and get to enjoy any downtrends right away. I do miss my morning weigh-ins a couple times a week, but I don't worry about that. It's not an obsessive thing.

I weigh in every day. If I don't get the chance to do so I don't feel well. I'm going for something on my diet and I kinda need to see the progress every day. Weight Loss may stall or I may even gain some grams at times. But I find it very important to keep track of the little dots in the overall picture.

I weigh every day also - must say tho not quite used to the ups and downs - I think the daily weighing also helps me going in the right direction

It is not good to weigh your self every day. If you do this you will see all the ups and downs in your weight, but may not consider all the variables involved. It can be discouraging and or give a false idea of your actual weight. Weighing yourself once at either the start or end of each week is a good indicator of how your weight loss/gain is progressing.

I can feel the 4 lbs. increase in my weight in my buttocks and tummy area. I'm more self conscious. I hate it!
