My diet is going great.. before signing with this site, that I don't use to the fullest, Aug 16 I weighed 472. When signed up was 460. Today I now weigh 432 Oct. 20, 2013. Been sticking with the Atkins phase 1, low carb under 20 grams and high protein diet, NO sugar... because of Health reasons hardly no exercises. 40 lbs. Total lost... Atkins was hard at first but adapted. Got another 40 before my doc will do gastric bypass. Strugeled all my life. 1996 I had weighed 770 and done lap band. Lost 300 and maintained for the past 8 years. God is good and trying to show I'm worth living for all he has given me. I'm 52 year old and want to Live.. is it too late, I think not.. Just took a long time to be willing again. GOD IS GOOD!!! Smile

You are doing so wonderful, congratulations, but if you are losing by yourself and enjoy this way of eating why do the operation, why not just continue?
the bypass is usually done for people who keep trying and failing to do it on their own , but you are doing it!
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!

I've dieted for 30years plus. I've always been over weight during my childhood and all my life. My 12 th grade I was pushing 300 lbs. All my diets I failed so this is my last resort I feel so I can finally be happier. I feel the gastric bypass would now help and make me continue to lose. Thanks also for your reply. Smile
