Too many people have the misconception that Atkins is all about eating tons of bacon and no veggies or fruit. Well, fruit is eliminated for the beginning, but I find at this time of year all we get are fresh apples so it's easy to leave them out for a few weeks.
Veggies especially dark greens have lots of fibre and will help you not need to take extra psyllium.
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!
