Putting in calories

If I already know the calories for a certain food, does anyone know how I put that in the tracker? Say a Wendy's salad that I tell them to hold the cheese dressing and croutons. It is not in the "Wendy's" catagory, but I need to count the calories. Can anyone help me??

Wendy's salads might already be in the database, but when in your food calendar for the day - scroll to the right. You will see custom food - there you can enter the food item and calories.

Yes, the Wendy's salad is in there, but if I want to leave out an ingredient like the cheese, or the bacon, it does not let you do that. I can do it on the Wendy's site and see exactly how many calorie, but I can not transfer it to my account here.

I would use the add custom food in your food diary, it's on the right. Or I would just do 3/4 a salad or whatever leaves you with the right number of calories ( of course, all the other nutrients will be off)

I think , what you eat is more important that your calories count.You need to replace some of what you eat with healthier stuff. you need to a be a little more careful about what you eat. You don’t need to cut out all those foods that you love the most; rather, you just need to make little changes in your food habits.

That is what I'm talkng about. When I have to grab a salad out, I usually leave out the cheese, bacon, and croutons and I use my own dressing (Hendrickson's). I can usually figure what the calories are, but cannot put them in the tracker.
