I try to keep any snack to 100 calories or less, and also to have them be low carb. Here are some of my favorites:

1 can of tuna packed in water with pepper and dill weed

1 slice of fresh mozzarella cheese (70 calories)
Add dash of olive oil, some grape tomatoes and fresh basil to make a caprese salad to keep it at around 100 calories.

1 slice of reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese (60 calories)

Jicama - 50 calories per cup and 6 net carbs - squeeze fresh lime and chili pepper on top

Hard boiled egg mixed with 1 tbsp. light mayo - chop it up and scoop it into celery sticks

Cucumbers dipped into light sour cream mixed with Fiesta Ranch (dry) dressing. You can eat a lot of these for 100 calories

50 ml of fat free bulgarian yoghurt (you can use greek too) 22 cals
1 apple 72 cals
teaspoon of ground cinnamon 6 cal
Total: 100 cals

i slice up the apple and then throw some ground cinnamon over it. pop it into the microwave for 1 minute and then add it to the yoghurt. the yoghurt contains lots of protein and the cinnamon is very good to keep your bloodsugar stable for long and keeping cravings at bay.

i know hard boiled eggs is an obvious option for some extra protein during snack time, but sprinkle some cayenne pepper over it. the cayenne pepper is excellent at boosting your metabolism and i like how it goes with the eggs.

looking forward to more posts Smile i need some new ideas

I highly doubt that a sprinkle of cayenne pepper is going to do much for your metabolism - sorry to say. But it might make the eggs taste better.

depends on how your body reacts to it. some people can eat really spicy food and they will need more of it, i only need one to two pinches and it makes me hot

Idk about cayenne speeding up metabolism but it sure adds a kick to chocolate.

Here's my non chocolate contribution since I couldn't get my chocolate cayenne concoction to be anywhere near 100 calories:

½ cup carrots 25, 1 stalk celery 6, 2 tablespoon hummus 70 = 101
⅓ cup cantaloupe 18, ½ cup non fat cottage cheese 80 = 98

Sliced English cucumbers dipped in Lemon Cilantro Hummus from Fresh & Easy. Yummy and very refreshing! Satisfies both the crunchy and creamy cravings.

I don't have a recipe since it's a store-bought flavored hummus from Fresh & Easy grocery store. I guess you could take regular hummus and add some chopped up cilantro and lemon juice and zest to taste.
