honestly, i would not log activities that are not exercise. it will only make it look like you are burning more calories than you actually are. it will only make it more difficult for you in the end if you are trying to lose weight.

I agree with ncnole but will add that some yard activities really burn calories, gardening 200-400/hr, mowing 250-350, raking 350....and if youbhave a farm some of the activities will burn up to 550 /hr.

What leg workouts can I do at home if I don't have access to a gym?
walking lunges and chair step ups. i often finish a workout by grabbing a couple 20 lb weights and doing 100 walking lunge steps. gives a good burn. :) i just seen my avatar. :( so skinny and white.

Exercises with an Out of Commission Ankle
Consider joining a fitness gym. There are machines that up your heart rate without putting weight on ankle. Rowing machine for one. Or a pool, if available for swimming.
