Who's serious about their diet?

I'm kinda looking for a buddy or two - people who are very serious about their diet. I started at 331 on June 20 and I've lost 34 pounds. I'm doing 1000 cal/day high in lean proteins and veggies, with some fruit. I document everything I eat and I stick to my diet with an occasional small splurge - very rare....

Who's in?

Here's today so far...

total calories: 539

Breakfast
5 1/2 oz broiled talipia
8 oz spinach and assorted veggies salas with spices and vinegar

Lunch
7 1/2 oz broiled talipia
5 oz cut up Gala apple with the skin
7 oz brussel sprouts

What I've just listed is exactly what I ate.
NO BREAD
NO SALAD DRESSING
NO BUTTER OR SAUCES


So.............who's serious and wants to buddy up.
I don't feel deprived or hungry, btw.

Sure I'd like to dive into candy cake and donuts, but I want the weight off more.

Peanut butter??? Oh HELL NO.

Peanut butter is just about the most fattening thing you can eat.

Don't be amazed by my 5 pounds. I just came off my cycle so it's probably more like three pounds if you take that into consideration.

I lost weight counting calories about 20 years ago. 1200 a day. And I walked A LOT. I'm doing WW so it may be slower, but we'll see. Smile

Welcome! At the top of the page, click on the tab called RECIPES, then on the right side scroll down to DIET & NUTRITION and click on the button called Gluten Free.

I'm Back
I used to eat fried fish with tartar sauce. Now I bake my fish and then add either lemon juice or balsamic vinegar to punch up the flavor, which saves a bunch of calories.
