I'm kinda looking for a buddy or two - people who are very serious about their diet. I started at 331 on June 20 and I've lost 34 pounds. I'm doing 1000 cal/day high in lean proteins and veggies, with some fruit. I document everything I eat and I stick to my diet with an occasional small splurge - very rare....

Who's in?

Jipper, that's high protein. I had a banana peanut butter shake that just shot my fat consumption through the roof.

High protein, YES. Protein keeps you satisfied and you won't get hungry and crave between meals.

Best snack?
Dill pickles - zero calories.

Hi Jipper, I'd like to be your buddy too. I am just counting calories. Weight wise I am pretty much in your league, but just starting today, so we can be in it together for a whileSmile Though your goal is way below mine--160. And when I get there I'll rethink if it where I want to stop.

Don't be amazed by my 5 pounds. I just came off my cycle so it's probably more like three pounds if you take that into consideration.

I lost weight counting calories about 20 years ago. 1200 a day. And I walked A LOT. I'm doing WW so it may be slower, but we'll see. Smile
