Looking for new program

I'm looking for a new workout program. I've done Jillian Michael's body revolution twice now. I enjoy it but I have trouble doing her cardio because it involves so much jumping. Jumping and my ankles do not go together.

A friend gave me her copy of Tony Horton's Power 90. It doesn't seem to bother my ankles at all. Problem is I'm finding it kind of boring. I definitely do not see myself doing this for 90 days.

I fear something like P90X or Insanity is too much for me (an my ankles) but I want something a little more interesting than the Power 90. Does anyone have a program they love and would recommend? I know there are tons of exercises I could do on my own but I really need the structure of a video program to stick with it.

Have you tried cross fit, I have been doing it for a year and I love it I have gotten stronger the workouts are short and intense and you hardly repeat the sameworkout. Crossfit.com is a good website it looks and sounds intimidating but you have to look past that it is fun and a good challenge and you can start at the bottom and work your way up.

Hi! I just completed a program at the Center for GI Weight Loss in Los Angeles. Prior to the program I was 70 pounds overweight. I came across the program through a friend of mine, and I met with Dr. Nowain and his staff. They fully educated me about weight loss, and how everyone is different with which methods they should use. The program was amazing because not only did they educate me about nutrition and other medical issues like blood pressure and cholesterol, but they also gave me support throughout the whole process. Can't begin to explain how important that is! I am now a success story, lost all the weight and couldn't be happier Smile

Anyway, for anyone looking for answers about weight loss- I highly recommend visiting their website and trying the program out!!! Here is the website: http://centergiweightloss.com/ Good luck out there!!!

P90X doesn't have jumping other than one plyometrics video that you could substitute. It concentrates more on strength training (3 days per week) so you would need free weights or resistance bands. I lost the bulk of my weight while following it and have completed it twice now. I'll start another round or hybrid with it in September. Insanity is ALOT of jumping as is turbofire.

I'm doing les mills Combat right now and it rocks. There is some jumping but that can be modified

I use power 90 but I turn on my stereo and jam out to my own music! It makes it feel like a different work out everytime! You can kill the boredom with tunes. Realistically, any workout routine will get boring, especially if you have a limitation. I blew out my acl and tore my meniscus, so I know I have to suck it up and make p90 work until I can actually do something different. Have an attitude of gratitude! Be thankful that you found a program that you can do and make it happen!!!
