Go to the "Forum Search" in the upper right corner of the page and type in "how to add foods to database" and you will see several forum topics with step by step instructions on how to do this.

Usually, anything you can think of as a question for this site has been answered and the search function will help out in finding the right answer.

I just did it again and it did show your question at the top of the results, but if you keep scrolling down there are many more results for that.

from Forum Search:
Go to your food diary. Click enter food. Where you can type enter: "random" and do a search. It will come up with nothing (no matches) for "random". It will then ask if you would like to add a custom item to the database. Say yes, and go from there.

You can also enter the ingredients as a meal and then save it. If you don't eat it that day you can always delete it from your food diary after saving it as a meal. I prefer this method to the co ...
