Has anyone tried this dietary supplement that is supposed to help balance hormones such as Adiponectin and Ghrelin? I started taking it yesterday and was just wondering if anyone else has had experience with it and what their results were?

Thanks!

You can balance a lot of these so called "fat" hormones through your food choices. I would think if you don't make changes to your food choices, taking a supplement wouldn't help. Here's an article I found and I happen to make many of the food choices they recommend.

I do eat healthy, lots of vegetables and lean protein, exercise 3-4 days per week and am very active. I just can't get any weight off....ever. When I came across Realdose, I thought maybe it would help with hormone imbalance that would help with burning fat etc.

I am hypothyroid, gained a ton of weight before they diagnosed me as that, and can't get the weight off now. My metabolism is non-existent, so I'm hoping with the help of Realdose, it'll increase my levels of adiponectin, decrease my ghrelin and crush my cravings. I just wanted to know if anyone else had used Realdose and what their results were.

Have you talked to your doctor about losing weight with the hypothyroidism?

I don't eat processed food, mostly veggies, some fruit, very little red meat, mostly chicken and pork, no butter or sweets. I eat too much at times, but I exercise several times per week, so I don't think I have a problem with my food choices.

I have spoken to the doctor and it's the same as everyone else.... calories in/calories out, eat healthy and exercise. Well I'm doing that and normaly people would have lost a ton by now, so what's the deal with me? It's so frustrating. That's why I decided to try this Realdose supplement. We'll see what happens. If it can help, I'll be surprised, but oh so thankful. Thank you for your suggestions and input.

Thanks mtuppers. I'm definitely noticing that my cravings have gone away and I'm following the diet and exercising 4-5 times per week. I've lost 8 lbs since 7/7/13 and feel more energetic. I have no side effects with Realdose either!

I'm going to keep taking it to see if it'll really kick in like many say. I'm glad I found it and it seems to be correcting my hormones to help my body run more efficiently.

Restricting carbs will do more to curb cravings than any supplement.
