Have you read Atkins books? so many posts with many good points about following induction to a tee., very important. I know that Atkins bars cause many people to stall, although say they're good for induction. They have malitol as a sweetener and that's a laxative so watchout, Eat enough calories in a day to stave off hunger. Eat proteins that will help you get over your craving for sweets.
Sugar has no nutritional value and is like a drug, it's the heroin of food.. you have to go cold turkey on it and you'll get over those cravings.
Usually we say have real fruit instead of sugar, but if your on Atkins you can't do that. Try berries which is allowed along with Sugar free jello with real whipped cream, that could help much better than the bars.

I would not advise that you eat more than one a day. The bars and shakes are not necessary and can cause stalls for some people. That being said, they can be convenient to carry with you in situations where LC food is not available. The cravings for sweets will begin to go away soon as your body adjusts to your new way of eating. Hang in there. If you are hungry, you should eat! Make sure you're eating enough healthy fats as they are satiating. I like a snack of ham, cheese and mayo roll-ups, almonds (if you're past induction) or celery with cream cheese. I hope this helps.

You are eating Atkins Bars, then does this mean you are on the Atkins Diet? You shouldn't be hungry alot if you are on the Atkins Diet. During the first few days the appetite should be reduced as the body begins Ketosis. If you are on the Atkins diet then eat more protein. It is not recommended you have more than one of the bars per day.They will sometimes stall weight loss.Also they can cause intestinal distress.

The cravings will eventually go away. I used to have a real big sweet tooth but I rarely crave any now. I will have 2 cheat meals a month, and I managed to lose more than 20 lbs within my first month on atkins and ive lost a total of 43 now. Peanut butter was my best friend and helped me a lot when I had cravings. Just keep telling yourself over and over that you dont need it. If you do it, it will pay off in the end.
