A quote from Jillian Michaels
It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require will power. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptations. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT!!!

Intense27, I think it is great to share inspiration. It helps everyone. I used to think J.M. was great and knew what she was talking about . But...
I tried her diet. It did hurt! It took all my time. It required power from my family, because I was a demon. I made the healthy decision to stop her awful diet. My body was pushed beyond the max and it made me sick. It sure wasn't worth it!!!
1200 calories and too much exercise is bad for your body and metabolism. Low fat, low carb and low calorie is not healthy. I bought her book and was on the diet and doing her crazy workout routines.
Plus her diet leads you to think you are a failure because you cannot stick to it.

Thank GOD for Nutritional Ketosis.

Clueless101, I do not follow JM diet I just really liked the quote. All diets aren't made equal, you have to find the right program that works for the goals you are trying to achieve. Eating healthy and working out is a lifestyle so it shouldn't have strict rules to follow. Sounds like you found something that works for you; good luck and great health.

Lots of diets around, some good and many bad. Understanding how your body processes food is very helpful. Here's a link that will help. Make it a balanced diet.
