Starting with a simple routine is really a good tips for losing weight and it is very important that routine will be not passed.

Both are great tips, especially the exercise. I thought I had to workout in the gym for hours doing weights, cardio, etc. Found out that food was more my downfall. One I corrected that, then it was a matter of moving more (find things you enjoy). Anyone wanting an actual workout, try free weights. They are easy to use and you only need about 20 minutes 3-4 times a week to help tone/maintain muscle.

Eat 4-5 smaller meals daily instead of 3 big meals.Consume more of fresh vegetables and fruits and avoid packaged food.
Speed up the metabolism and fat burning hormones and reduce weight.
