I would never ever use cooking spray! why put a petroleum product into your system instead of good pure foods? Eggs are not the enemy, if they don't agree with you fine, but your body needs cholestrol and eggs are one of the best foods to get it from.
Try coconut oil to cook with if you really don't want butter, it has a higher smoke point than olive oil so much better when sauteing.
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!

All good ideas on how to add flavor. Carmelizing onions, fresh spinach, jalepenos, mushrooms and baby tomatoes are some of my favorites. You noted it was your 1st egg white omelette? If you are not used to eating this way, it may take some time for your taste buds to pick up on the more subtle flavors of natural foods. Once you become more accustomed to natural non-processed food with less sugars and salts, you'll find everything tastes much better.

Olive Oil is not evil so cooking with olive oil has good benefits like powerful antioxidants & monounsaturated fats which contribute to lowering bad cholesterol.Olive oil also helps lubricate our joints. If you enjoy the egg whites may I suggest "All Whites" they do not have that awful yellow dye, when scrambled they are fluffy...they are 100% liquid egg whites.

Try red pepper flakes to make them spicey....

I make them scrambled with green peppers and onions, I take a taco shell stuff it with lettuce and then what I scrambled...keeps me full all morning.

I use the regular egg substitute. Same calories but a little more flavor. Like 2% fat shredded cheese but only use about a teaspoon. Goes a long way because it is shredded. Sometimes real bacon bits. If I use only a teaspoon it only adds about 10 calories. Sometimes I add cayenne pepper and onion powder when I don't feel like chopping veggies.You sure can make a huge omelet when you are adding lots of veggies. My favorite is bacon bits, onion & tomato diced with a little 2% shredded cheese. Very filling. Also try using low calorie bread dipped in egg substitute to make yummy French toast.

Echoing some of the posts before mine - eggs, cheese, butter are good stuff, not bad stuff. You'll have much better success eating healthy and in moderation if you enjoy the taste of your omlet instead of masking it in tabasco. I like to sautee onion, spinach, pepper and mushroom with a slice of bacon then use the oil from the bacon to coat the skillet to keep the eggs from sticking.

I'm not losing WEIGHT. I'm converting FAT to MUSCLE to be healthier.

Have you tried adding small cubes of organic firm tofu? Also - sprinkling on vegetarian nutritional yeast gives eggs a cheesy favor and provides B12.

Egg Omelet is one of most wonderful dish to eat .Mix some tomato, Onion, chili, milk and stir it well and then fry it. An amazing brown color egg omelet is ready to eat.

What I've been told is the Best part is the yoke.it's got the protein and vitamins the body needs to be able to exercise.I was told the white has nothing for the body.I found that out on the Fat Loss Factor.com.

Vickileary, egg whites are full of protein, 17 cal .24 carb and 4gms of protein , that's great! egg yolk = 54 cal. 1 carb and 3 gms of protein. and 210 cholestrol. Your brain needs cholestrol so don't be frightened away.
Eggs are natures most perfect food, i think.
I never eat a complete egg white omelette, is always has at least one yolk in it.and lots of veggies.
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!
