It's an amazing feeling, Yankgal46.

You know, finding my "real" weight, where I am the most comfortable, is so rewarding. I think I am pretty much there right now. I'm considering lowering my goal weight with just a kilo or two, simply to indicate that THIS is where I'd like to be. Smile

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

This morning I was walking/jogging. I always do five kilometers in the morning, every day. I usually walk it. Today, I decided to jog as much as I could - something I do every now and then. Today, I managed two full kilometers, and I had to stop because my legs were getting sore and I didn't want it to kill my activities for the rest of the day. However, as I finished, my cell phone rang, and as I picked it up I noticed that I was in no way short of breath. It was ONLY my thighs burning that caused me to stop. Nice!

Awesome Very Happy Great job!

After 30 years today is three months without a cigarette. I've recorded my food for 43 days, even when I blew it and didn't want to. I went from NO water, (two pots of coffee a day and then soda) to 4-6 bottles of water a day. I eat about every two hours instead of every two days and it's healthy, good food instead of fast food or junk food. My hair is no longer falling out in clumps and I can wear jeans instead of sweats. My daughters are coming over to exercise with me and my danes do a happy dance because they know mom is actually going to walk them. Thank you for starting this post, that felt great!

Friday, I walked up the stairs to a apartment on the 6th floor. No stops. No breaks. As I arrived on the top floor, the person living there came to greet me at the door, and I was able to carry a conversation with him without being the least short of breath. Smile I have never accomplished this before.

Yay, dieter7500! Good for you!

Tomorrow will be the end of my first 6 weeks doing Jillian Michael's Body Revolution. (I'm just doing the exercise DVDs, not her meal plan.) Exercising 6 days a week used to be such a foreign concept to me, but now I'm used to it and look forward to it in the morning. On my rest day, I feel weird all day; I miss that morning workout feeling that carries me through the day. My husband even calls me Miss Hardbody now, even thought I know I'm far from it! But it's sweet anyway. Smile

Thanks kkd1125, I wish I could do Jillian's DVD. I have it tried it I would have to work my way to that DVD. I made through my 2 miles after work but it was really hard today my joints were killing me. Took 2 aleve and went back to walking.

A small one, but something for me. A pair of pants I wore a couple of weeks ago are now about to fall off my butt. I can pull them down without unzipping. And I'm walking on the back of the cuffs. Loving it.

Congrats to everyone who have accomplished something wonderful in their lives.

Sheysdrm... you're amazing.

It's great to read such positive stories. Well done to you all and thank you for sharing; it really does inspire me to keep at it. I only have a stone (14lbs) or so to lose, but I've been at it a while and am finding it hard right about now. I was craving a big bag of crisps, but have just read through this thread, made myself a cup of lemon and ginger tea and peeled an orange instead. Thanks guys Smile

Congrats, hfjhfj, on choosing tea over crisps. Tea is one of my tools. It comes in handy at night when I'm out of calories but want something comforting. The old me would find comfort in ice cream or junk, but the new me likes the soothing warmth and aroma of different herbal teas and the fact that they have 0 calories.

The bad news: I had a naughty weekend; we had some friends round on Saturday night, so there were crisps and wine in the house and I succumbed. On the other hand, I didn't go mad and I didn't finish the bag or the bottle, like I probably would have at one time. Hubby finished the crisps up last night and there's half a bottle of wine still sitting in the fridge.

The good news: Today I am wearing a skirt that I haven't been able to zip up for years. And it's comfortable, it's not like it 'just' fits Very Happy Feels good, I can tell you.

This morning after I finished my workout, I was putting my dumbbells back on the shelf at home and, in all honesty, was flexing a little bit for fun as I did it for my husband who was watching. He smiled and said, "Wow, I think I'll be taking a brand new woman on our cruise next month!" YESSS!!! Very Happy
