I think that you may, usually a regular beer has 150kcal, that means that you'll have to work harder with your exercise during the week to loose those calories. But I'm the kind of people who thinks that if you like something, and you have been doing a good job, you deserve that spare time and enjoy too. it's all about balance. have a good weekend.

If you're counting calories, just count them. If you've got room within your RDI, go for it. If you don't - either don't go for it, or be okay with having a little less of a weight loss.

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. Relax and just go out and have fun. Get back on track. A few beers will not screw you up for life. You need to be happy its part of weight loss. So cheat a little bit you won't gain any weight on one little night out.

I'd go more flavor with less consumption - I'm a fan of Belgian beers. They are delicious, sweet even, have a higher alcohol content so you have to drink them slow and alternate with water - you'll only drink 8oz all night while your husband dinks 4 or 5 12oz buds! Plus, in the end its not the beer that'll get you, its the food you snack on while drinking the beer! Fries, nachos, wings, etc. Each wing is 100kcal not even including sauce or blue cheese!

I personally have refused to give up beer, I might be losing weight a little slower but I don't feel deprived, and again I pick the more expensive and higher quality ones. I feel satisfied with just one while the rest of my friends keep drinking more. Plus when the beer is $7 a glass you savor it a bit more instead of chugging it down!

Have a bud light and drop a shot of whisky in it, you'll be under 170 calories. Make your husband promise not to order any food, as it's not a good thing to have around with lowered inhibitions Very Happy

Hops is an ingredient that is used in brewing beer, and is healthy in moderation. It helps to soothe and relax the muscles in the digestive tract and ot is also said to contain anti-inflammatory properties. A serving of light beer has around 110 calories, just allow for it in your calories and have a good time.

Next time order some Budweiser Select 55s. 55 cals a piece! that's what I've been doing lately when we go out. Also, remember the calories in hard liquor are consistent with the alcohol content - thus, every 80-proof shot of liquor will have roughly 100 calories. A good way to stretch your calories when drinking is to order a tall drink with one shot and a zero calorie mixer. So a Jack and Diet, Bacardi and Diet, or Vodka and Club will all still only have around 100 cals. Also, red wine is still the absolute best alcohol to drink calorie wise, but I can't make myself get it down! Good Luck!

The lawn is mowed, it's hot out, and it's Cinco de Mayo, time for a cerveza.
