this might be tmi. But I'm having a hard time with my diet suddenly. I have been so good except for with family on a road trip. I was still reasonable. But this is the first time dieting that I have been so serious that I can prepare food for other people with out interest. until today. I have wanted to eat cereal like crazy. cinnamon toast crunch (generic) to be exact. All I can think is that it has coincided with that time of the month. I wish I had a substitution. but I have very limited funds. I only have butter, frozen chicken, broccoli slaw, splenda, cinnamon. (not including the kids food) I really wished I had kept my golden flax seed.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the future? recipes and such so I can be more prepared.

One thing that might help with 'that' time is a magnesium deficiency. When you come to that time, your body sucksup and demands more calcium from you. you need magnesium to transfer that calcium to the body, Our minds don't know to crave magnesium, but guess what? Chocolate is full of magnesium and so that's what your mind tells you you want. So no, don't eat more chocolate! but try a calcium magnesium supplement and see if the helps....
