I would not necessarily recommend 2000 calories. Use the calculator, to make sure. The RDI (recommend det daily intake) varies a LOT from person to person. If you feel that you want a faster weight loss than what Fatsecret offers, try shaving off 300-500 calories more per day, but don't go much under a daily average of 1200.
Losing weight is not about eating as little calories as possible, it's about creating a deficit, while your body runs optimally. If you don't eat enough, you will wear out, get tired, find your weight loss journey difficult and risk giving up. We don't want you to give up.
