I'm not new to dieting or using fitness websites but I'm new to FatSecret. I know how to lose weight and what my body reacts to best, I just haven't been consistent and am my own worst enemy.

I've grown tired of losing and gaining the same weight so hoping to finally get my head on straight and do it the right way, once and for all.

So any highly motivated diet buddies would be great. Very Happy

in the end as with most things in life its about choices?

what are you prepared to do get what you want?

You know how to do it but can you sustain it?

For me looking and feeling great outweighs my desire to stay in bed in the morning rather than get up and work out, eat healthily most of the time instead of eating crap (thats not too hard for me as i enjoy what i eat).

being able to play with and run with my son rather than being some huffing and puffing 'fat dad' who cant keep up

being taken for being in my early 30's rather than pushing 50

being the lowest weight and leaness i have been since i was 19 at the age of nearly 49.

not wanting to end up having a coronary, being a bloated mess and die before my time and not see my son grow up are all strong motivations

Heavy metal is our friend! Smile So much energy, and great for exercise! I play in a hardrock/heavy metal band. Smile

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

I have spent my adult life making the wrong choices...I have started to finally turn my life around and my thinking...so my choice is to lose weight and keep it off. It's hard to explain how I feel mentally and emotionally now compared to in the past when I just reverted back to my old habits. I still had some things to learn about myself...and I have learned what I needed to know.

I have set my house up for success...foods that will get me there. I have a membership at a great gym...I have a new support group of friends with similar goals...and now I have this site to help me track and stay accountable.

The last time(s) I tried to lose weight...I didn't want it for me.

Now I do. I want to have a baby. I want to run a marathon and I certainly want to be able to play for hours with my newphew due to come into this world in August.

Point being...I've found the fire inside again...I'd been a dull ember of light for many years...now I WANT it.

Smile And I need supportive and motivated buddies...and not ones that will coddle me and/or be worried about making me butthurt. I want the hard honest truth. Always.
