I used to weigh myself every Tuesday until this week. I learned last week that women should weigh in 10 days prior to their period in order to not incorporate water weight. Its going to be tough only weighing in once a month but I feel I will get more accurate results.

I think weighing everyday is great when starting off on a specific diet regiment where you're adjusting your macronutrient percentages and looking for trends. After you find a a balance that yields the changes you want, weighing in can be done less frequently, but utilize the mirror or tape measure as well. I don't even bother anymore. I just use the mirror as the gauge since I'm in more of a maintenance stage these days. Just keep in mind that muscle is more dense than fat, so if you're working out a lot, weight changes may not be as pronounced at a certain point.

Stay the course, stay on point, stay motivated, dedicated, and you won't be stopped. Discipline. Perseverance. Focus. Dig deep and you will be victorious.

I weigh myself about three times a day, it's just a nasty habit I've gotten into and I'm trying to get out of it but I've heard that if you weigh yourself everyday and write down the number, then at the end of the week you should find out how your weight fluctuates, then it will apparently keep you in more control about your weight loss.

I used to weigh myself everyday, sometimes up to 3 times a day. That was back when I lost a lot of weight so became quite obsessed. These days (after gaining a lot back) I weigh myself once a month, if that. Ive recently started doing the gym and weight training, stood on the scales and have gained so Im just hoping thats muscle! Will probably start regular weekly weigh in's now.

I weigh myself first thing in the morning after I've been to the loo and around 8pm after a shower. I find that it keeps me on track and keeps me motivated. If I have a bad day or two diet wise I start up a new day as if it were my first. No point in beating yourself over the head for the odd slip up. I'm more interested in which weight people actually record once a week....Morning or Night?

I disagree... Your true weight is first thing in the morning upon rising from bed and after evacuating yourself. Not in the middle of the day after you eat and drink and probably have clothes on.

Does your doctor weigh you first thing in the morning evacuated and naked?

I have been weighed at my doctors office with work boots and a winter jacket on.

I bought my mom 5 Leslie Sansone workouts and she loss 20lbs. I enjoy her workouts as well. She kept me from gaining too much during my pregnancies.
