Oh no I binged!

I was doing great,I binged bad for the past two days! Stress and emotions have gotten the best of me!! I need to get on track!!I don't want to even look at the scale!!!

I started my weight loss journey in September at 210.. I joined Fat Secret in the middle of October at 196.. Since then this is what I have accomplished.

If you binged for two days then you probably only set yourself back by 2-3 days from reaching your goal weight. Even if you delayed reaching your goal by a week, that's not so bad, is it?

You might well see a bump on the scale, especially if you ate lots of salty or sugary foods. Don't worry too much about it-- it'll be water weight. Eat healthy food with lots of vegetables, drink lots of water, and those pounds will go away in a few days.

I have been known to deliberately have a couple days binge if I have plateaued..... scales dont look pleasant but it drops off very quickly and sets me off again. Important thing is to get back on track then..... and dont presume you can get away with it too often lol.

Two days won't make a difference in the long run. It's knowing that you did it and getting back on track that's the key.
Just a hint from an old woman though. Try to keep things around and hand ready for those times. Even splurge items. Emotional eating IS what it IS. So, aim for comfort in something you don't normal have, but isn't off the charts. Or, take yourself out to eat. Sometimes when you are paying for it you are more inclined to watch what you are eating.... but, other than that, don't beat yourself up over it. That two days is past, just keep moving forward! Good luck!

A lot of people have trouble with binging over the holidays. The important thing is to figure out what you could have done differently and do that next time.

A productive plan might be "prepare an Easter dinner I will like so much I won't want to eat the junk". An unproductive plan might be "try harder".

Complete Couch to 5K- DONE!!!
Sign up for and complete a 5K- DONE!! 35 mins.
Plan at least 3 outings with the family that involve being active- 2 done
