Just curious, since clothes can weigh differently depending on what you're wearing when you step on the scale. Seems to me that it can really throw your weight off.

Nope, I weigh without clothes. Some folks weigh weekly and just make sure they wear the same things, but I weigh daily. I don't want to mess with putting on the same thing each day to weigh myself when just eliminating the clothes solves the problem.

I weigh in at work for getting naked would be a bad idea... But as I wear similar clothes (Jeans, poloshirt or t-shirt) in the office each day there isn't a great deal of variation.

42" jeans(25/01/2013) 40"(28/02/2013) 38"(20/03/2013) 36"(25/05/2013)
Down from 60" waist jeans since June 21st 2012.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.

Onwards and Downwards! Smile

I weigh myself "sans clothes", but in a public situation I weigh with the same clothes each time. That will allow for consistancy.

But dont forget, it you weigh in public at a meeting or something...your home scale may be more accurate simply because 100's of people arent using the same scale and wearing it out faster!!

I weigh myself in the morning with nothing on, not even socks. I want to know my true weight, not the weight of my clothes. When I go to the doctor for my weight check on Monday, I will be wearing the lightest clothing possible so my weight is as close to real as it can be.

Depends on what I wore to bed...if it was heavy clothing I take it off, if it's light I keep it on and agreed either way no audience Smile

I get super anal retentive and will only weigh in on Sat mornings after all bathroom business is done, in the nude, and after a good full night's sleep. A few of my weigh-ins were skewed (in my humble opinion) by a late-night work session after which I only got 3-4 hours of sleep. It's like my body didn't have enough hours of downtime to process everything in my body Smile

I just saw that you are doing it for health reasons. I was responding to the initial short original post. Disregard if you've been told otherwise by your doctor.
