I have no idea what a "military diet" is although I'm sure someone invented a gimmick and called it that. I would be very suspicious and if they are selling anything run like hell.

This is the link to the diet, its only a 3day diet and it includes ice cream! I guess it's sort of like the intermittent fasting or the same idea as the 5-2 diet , id love to chat to someone who's tried it though!

It's a temporary crash diet for people who need to meet a weight goal. It's not part of a program to achieve real long-term weight loss. In fact, it will probably set you back.

I can't speak for Soldiers but in the Marine Corps if you're over weight you spend your lunch time at the gym running stairs (not voluntarily). If you still don't lose that weight you are medically discharged.

The fact that it advertises "no need to do strenuous exercise" should tell you something.

So true Jeri, some days you just don't feel like eating, especially when its hot and humid, so I nibble and it might only be 4 - 500 calories. Then I go to a grandkids b'day party and enjoy ...

you don't have to eat your RDI, If you are full don't eat anymore. You will lose weight quicker that way.....
