I have got a plan off the Internet to do the Couch 2 5k, it's a 9 week training plan and it says anyone can do it. I only started it this week and I'm loving it. Have a look and see if you can find it on the net. It makes me feel great, and half an hour burns 200 calories. Oh and music you love will definitely help !

I always recommend to people who are just beginning to wrokout to do something that you consider very easy for the first two weeks. Most people get really excitied, overdo it, and get so sore they give up.

The key is to establish a good routine so set some goals in the beginning that allow you to be successful and then after those two weeks you can increase the speed, intensity, etc and make it more of a challenge if you want to.

Pain is a by-product of a good time.

Collage video also has treadmill workouts on DVD that give you really nice scenery and different levels so you can work at your own pace. Also the fitness magazines usually has some good tips and workouts.

Also I have found that if you are sore the next day to not cancel your workout. Just do a lighter workout so your muscles can warm up. I have found doing this helps get rid of the sore muscles faster.

Have you taken your measurements? If you're doing strength training (which is sounds like you are), you could be putting on muscle, which makes you smaller even though your weight may not be going ...

To me paying the membership to Curve's is worth it. I look at the machines and dvds at home and can't seem to get motivated but going to Curve's there are people to talk to and people to help ...

This is tough......I,m spending 90% of my time trying to stay on meal plan and the other 10% going off it.....Resulting in an increase in weight..
