Hello All!! My name is Sheri and I have been apart of Myfatsecret for several years. I know the weight I need to be but for some reason month after month year after year I continually give up. This time I am sticking with this. I actually started my new weight loss on the 3/12/13. My weights was 170.0. This scared me and showed me that if I keep going my weights can get out of control. I have family members who's weight is in the 300's. This cannot and will not happen to me.

Since I started on the 12th of March until now I have lost 6.4 pounds. My first goal is to be 160.00 by April 1st. I do better if I lay down small goals as I go along. My ultimate goal is to weigh 125.

This is what I am doing to make my weight loss a success. First and for most my mind is positive and made up that TIME I WILL STICK TO THIS UNTIL I HAVE REACHED MY GOAL. I have been limiting my carbs and staying away from sugars. If I do have sugar it is in fruits and vegetables.

One of my favorites that I found I love and it is a desert but eat it as a meal is Greek Yogurt with honey. YUMMY!!!!

Talk to you soon!!!Very Happy

You sound like you're in the right mindset for a successful journey losing that weight. Keep doing what you know and see is working, and you will get there.

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

Hi Sheri and everyone else. Reading your post, I felt like you know me and the struggles I have been having too. I started the SBD for the first time back in 2003 and went from 160 to 130 in six months. Then in 2005 I noticed the pounds "creeping" back on, but didn't do anything and before I knew it I had creeped up to 215 by 2011. My 2012 New Year's resolution was to loose the weight again. By Sept 2012 I was down to 160. In March 2013, I admitted to myself "Oops, I've done it again" (thx Brittany). My mother is a yo-yo dieter and I think it's killing her. I don't want to be like that. I feel like an addict and I just can't kick the habit. Quitting smoking was easier than this! Help!
Goal 1. Fit into my "skinny" jeans again (160 lbs by Sept 22)
Goal 2. Let's start 2014 out right (130 lbs by Dec 31)
Goal 3. Never have to "diet" again! I'm getting too old for this.
