hello! just a quick question. since starting my diet two weeks ago, and stomach shrinking (i would assume) there's just some days where i'm not too hungry. i'll eat a couple healthy things like apples, bananas, nuts, or something little.. but i just don't feel the need to force myself. are a few days like this ok? any advice? thanks!

I'd say follow your appetite, when your body wants more it will let you know.

There are some that actually diet this way, calorie cycling, having some high days & some low, but rounding up the weekly total each week to be the same.

Starting weight: 318 lbs!! 2nd of June 2008 (Calorie Counting!).

June 08 Month 1: 298 lb (20 lb. lost). July 08 Month 2: 291 lb (7 lb. lost). August 08 Month 3: 279 lb (12 lb. lost). September 08 Month 4: 268 lb (11 lb. lost). October 08 Month 5: 257 lb (11 lb. lost). November 08 Month 6: 248 lb (9 lb. lost). December 08 Month 7: 235 lb (13 lb. lost).

January 2009 Month 8: 229 lb (6 lb. lost). February 09 Month 9: 223 lb (6 lb. lost). March 09 Month 10: 211 lb (12 lb. lost). April 09 Month 11: 208 lb (3 lb. lost). May 09 Month 12: 210 lb (+2 lb. gained). June 09 Month 13: 188 lb (22 lb. lost). July 09 Month 14: 181 lb (7 lb. lost). August 09 Month 15: 179 lb (2 lb. lost). 15th September 09 Month 16: 171 lb (8 lb. lost). Total Loss: 147 lbs! in 15 months. (Alas! Regained! :'-( )

I totally get where your coming from, I have the same happen to me usually if I have a protein shake I find come dinner time im not hungry at all, so I dont force myself to eat when I dont think I need it. Dont knoe for sure if that is good advice or not but it works for me, I also drink lots of water.

my schedule is crazy busy. i am never hungry in the morning andf starving when i get home at night. its realy important to eat in the morning to get your body/ digestion and metabolism going.. i do not think it matter to eat less or have a meal replacement for dinner.

if your not hungry in the am like me, i think you should try to eat anyway. dinner is ok to eat less in my opinion since you will likely not burn all the cals consumed.

I used to eat when i was hungry. But i would always make sure i ate something otherwise i could go a day without being hungry. I was still fit and healthy. Lol i used to have friend who used to come round abductions his first words were always 'have you eaten today?' it was only when i started eating at regular times i put weight on ; my portion control had gone out the window cos i had gone hi cal as i was eating meals the size i had ate previously when i was hungry.

It's not going to hurt to miss a couple of meals during the week. I do it intentionally if I know I've got a "Bad meal" or two coming up. (Like I have tomorrow and next week).

Down from 60" waist jeans since June 21st 2012.

Still keeping to my 26" jeans, but they are too tight for comfort. too many tasty things in the US, and over Xmas.
