How well did you do this weekend? I honestly wasn't tempted to drink soda, however I did have my fair share of beer. Perhaps I will give up the beer in addition to sodas. What do you think? My mother says if I stop drinking beer I will lose weight faster.

I'm doing the 'junk food challenge' on here and I managed to stick to it quite rigidly but thankfully it doesnt include red wine, which I enjoyed immensely on Saturday night and yes your Mum's quite right about the beer

I made January a "no alcohol month" and let me tell you - it was so much easier to have calories under control! I love beer, but whenever I drink, I CRAVE high-fat, high-carb food. Besides, beer itself already contains a lot of extra calories. I don't usually drink soda at all - maybe home-made kvass every now and then. After a full month of just coffee, tea, and water I don't even really crave any other drinks.

I did not have a plan about alcohol but right after Christmas was my last one..like I said I didn't plan on it and the whole month of January I didn't have a drip Smile and lost some more weight. 5 months ago I went soda free well tried...it took me the first three months to get rid of craving but the last two months I have had like one a month..lol Yeah me!
