If you're 14 years old, 104 lbs and already worrying about dieting and body image, you are just asking for an eating disorder. Give yourself time to grow and learn to love your body just the way it is.

This may be a little late, but a very good book that has helped me have a more positive body image is "Intuitive Eating" written by a couple of counselors that deal alot with emotional eating, body dysmorphism, etc. Here's the link http://www.intuitiveeating.org/content/what-intuitive-eating
I think the most important message the book relates is that deprivation never works, and only through truly appreciating and listening to your own body will it then follow that you will eat and exercise healthy.

p.s. In high school I was 5'0' and weighed 105 pounds - 4 inches shorter and a little heavier than the OP - and I too, thought I was "too fat". And yet, I never had difficulty finding boys who were attracted to me. DON'T BELIEVE THE PICTURES OF "MODELS" IN THE MAGAZINES! The vast majority of those women are SERIOUSLY underweight and under-muscled as well as air-brushed!

@Julie42 please understand I'm not actually worrying. It's just the little bit of fat is all. I know to eat healthy and eat a balanced amount of calories, and I'm not doing any excessive amount of exercise. Just the hour of light work outs about every two-three days.

UK size 8 in clothing is equal to US size 6.

At 5'4" and 106 lbs, I'm guessing that what you're seeing around your midsection is indeed "baby fat" because your body hasn't fully matured yet. You sound like you are in a very normal to small size range for your age.
