You're diet looks pretty good for the days I looked at. Protein is good unless you are looking to do more of a Atkins type thing. Rice is a killer! Beans are good for you but if canned are high sodium and pack a large amount of carbs. Most fruits are high too. Pop some lean meat or seafood on your salads, check out some low carb snack. yourlighterside.com and skinnytaste.com are great sites. Peak at the diaries of atkins people and see what they are eating. Like I said unless you are trying to go low carb you diet actually looks pretty balance and more so thatn some poeple (at least the last few days). Good luck!

Are you trying for a 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 breakdown? If so, why?

My trainer asked me to up my protein intake to aid in muscle formation so I started eating omelettes with 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg - depending on your egg size, you get about 21 g of protein for about 140 calories (plus whatever you add to it - i.e. veggies, oil, etc.).

What you need to do is plan your meals in advance and only eat what you have put on your menu plan. That way you can adjust portion sizes and play with the numbers until you get it right, rather than being unpleasantly surprised when it is too late to do anything about it.
