I don't like fruit in my oatmeal - I don't know why but I don't - however, I wanted to have the flavor of fruit in my oatmeal. I really wanted to do this with blueberries when I'm cooking a huge batch in the crockpot. Any suggestions as to how I can do this if I don't want to eat the berries but have their flavor in there??

get 100% juice of your choice and replace the water until you have the flavor combination you want. Try apple juice and throw in some cinnamon. or a can of apricot necter.

Not sure if this would work but since it's slow cooking, you might be able to put the real fruit in there during the cooking and then take them out when done and the flavor would have soaked in. Of course, this would require the work of taking out the frutis, so juice might be better. Not sure the other would work but just a thought.

Just a quick question what do you consider low in calories. To some people that's under 250 cals some under 500.

Pasta Less calories with sauce than without
The sauce adds volume so there would be less pasta per cup serving.
