I always work out at night.... it keeps me from being bored and snacking. I always have a banana or choc milk after workout to replenish muscles, then go to bed. It seems to work fine for me. I have been doing it for 4 months, and lost close to 70 lbs, and I feel great ! Thats MY opinion. Good luck.

the only problem is that workouts make you release endorphins which is a good thing but might make falling asleep difficult

Any exercise is better than no exercise. If your optimal time to exercise is late at night, knock yourself out.

I agree that I always work out at night! I just make sure to eat something and drink water or milk before I go to bed to give my muscles something to replenish them! I found peanut butter toast and a glass of chocolate milk help me fall asleep after the high of my workout too!

oh! it's okay. workout during night is still fine. in fact, many people do that. i just think that after you do workout, give yourself time to relax, don't sleep immediately.. and also, pair it with proper diet in proper time. i think you should know the right foods that works for you. Source:

I think so long as you have an hour before you go to bed after exercise you should be ok to sleep. You do what you haveto do

You can exercise at any time of day. There is no best time. Some people find it energizes them in the morning so they do it then, while others like me find it exhausiting, so others do at night before bed time.
I have insomnia, and I discovered after I started exercising at night, that I sleep better and I haven't had a sleepless night but a handful of times.
