How Do I Use My Recipes?

Hi. I'm trying to figure out this site. I created a recipe, entered all the steps and foods and servings. I saved it. I click "add to my food diary" and it does not show up in today's or yesterday's food diary.

I try going to the day/meal that I want to add it to (yesterday's dinner) and I cannot figure out how to find my recipe to add to the diary.

I also selected "copy to saved meal, breakfast", and it saved my egg sandwich meal, but now I cannot find that to add to another day.

Things seem so scattered. There are enough options, but they cannot be used and I am getting frustrated.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

I'm not an expert, but when you first go into FS on the right side of the screen is a list of your options. Your "cookbook" is there. Click on it and then find the recipe you want. also if you entered your breakfast yesterday you can copy it to today. You click on enter food and then click on add item and if you haven't entered any food for that meal it shows an option to copy a previous meal. I hope this helps, if not clear enuf, let me know. Yes, I can get to the cookbook and the recipe, but I cannot add it to today's or yesterday's food diary journal whatever thing that counts my calories.

I see the option to copy a previous meal as well. But what if for example I saved a meal on Saturday and want to use it on Tuesday? It only lets me select yesterday's or last Tuesday's, even though I specifically saved it as a "meal" because I eat it all the time. Do I make any sense?

Thank you for helping! I think I'm frustrated more than anything because I am fussing with this goofy food tracking program instead of eating lunch. I'll try again when I'm not starving and irritated.
