evening all; Laurie went above and beyond to get me here, lol. For some reason I wasn't showing up so she re-sent the invite. So glad to see the sista's here.

Went to the gym tonight and walked 3 miles; 5 laps = 1 mile and finished 16 laps with mild crosstraining mixed in. Did 5 one minute modified planks; 25 crunches on an exercise ball; 25 torso twists, 50 toe touches, 4 lunges, each leg; a two minute "chair" pose and one terrible half ass burpie, lol. Friday going to gym for upper body on weights, if I can move my arms, lol. NO, I am going to the gym tomorrow. No ifs about it. Diet was a egg mcmuffin for breakfast with a coffee; a roast beef sub for lunch, a 1/2 c pears for snack, a nutrigrain zone bar after workout and a grapefruit smoothie protein shake for dinner (and one 8 oz coke), 32 oz water, and one diet ice tea.

Starting to feel the planks for sure in my triceps, between shoulder blades and abdomen. Hope I can breathe tomorrow, lol. I got some new shoes couple weeks ago called "go lite" and really like them, but am building up to them as they have a lower heel like minimizers. I told the guy about my injury to my right heel and needed to not get minimizers, so he directed me to these. I will say they fit so nice like a glove, I just need to build up to the heel; I'm wearing them only to exercise in for now.

Plan to look outside in about an hour to see the metorite showers. clear skies here. Work in am; need to go to bedford and paoli for dialysis rounds so its like hour and half away. And got a call; truck done. Will pick up sometime tomorrow. We settled on a thousand for all the work; it was more, but since I agreed to do all that needed done, he "reworked" the charges. I am excited to get it back.

I seem to have a hard time figuring out the site, so will try to get it right now, but may need more help lol. Nite all. glad I found you or that Laurie found me!! katg

Hi guys. This is my reading for the day. Fat: 48.78 Carbs: 14.08 Sugar: 4.18, Nett Carbs 9.18 and Protien: 28.21 and Cals: 590. Does this sound right.

Welcome and lots of luck, it's also not really luck, commitment to your plan and follow through. Tweaking wlong the way so you plan and lifestyle will meld into something you can live with not a diet ...
