Hi, all! I'm new to the site and just joined the Lose 7 Lbs in December challenge. I had a bad triglycerides diagnosis in September and promised my doctor that I would control it with diet and excercise if it was possible to do so -- and I've lost 21 pounds since then! I need to lose 30 more,but I'm confident I can. I'm eating a heart healthy diet and walking four miles a day. Every pound that drops off incentivizes me again! Very Happy

Keep motivated. Stay on track. If you stall don't get disheartened just look back at where you were and feel good about where you are and keep going. Don't beat yourself up if you have a day off as its good to fool your body and re kick your metabolism but don't have too many. Don't forget everyone is different, what works for one won't for someone else, find what works for you and that you can sustain, sometimes its better to lose an oz than a lb if it stays off and means you can keep going.

They're generally too high here. Most of us use other online calorie calculators and then change our RDIs here. Draglist's website diettruth.org has some links.
