Was watching videos on youtube last night of marathon and ironman triathlon finishes. Truly amazing.

The Ironman Triathlon Championship is this weekend in Hawaii.
2.4 mile swim
112 mile bike race
then a marathon 26.2 mile run
All have to be completed in 17 hours.

2011 Ironman Special

Then end what really gets me. The people collapsing & cramping up. The lady who missed finishing before the midnight cut-off by FOUR seconds! A guy won a 1 million dollar bet with rapper 50 Cent if he'd finish, the money donated or something to feed kids? A soldier who lost both his legs finished. A 71 year old woman who didn't learn to swim until she was 58. The oldest woman to complete it was 76!

and this video of people finishing the Boston Marathon. Some barely staggering across, others doing cartwheels! Wow.
